Dr. Keith Donato

Dr. Keith Donato, DC, brings specialized chiropractic expertise to the Bio-Mechanics team, as well as decades of experience working with both amateur and competitive triathletes, swimmers, tennis players, runners, and more. A native of Upstate New York, Dr. Donato launched his professional career as a personal trainer to elite athletes in southern California. He enjoyed working with clients to help them reach their personal fitness goals, but in the process, discovered his true calling: helping people with pain and injuries work toward healing. This realization led Keith to attend Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, from which he graduated in 1995 with a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree. In his subsequent decades of chiropractic experience, Dr. Donato has continued his professional education and attained numerous additional certifications and recognitions including:
  • Full-body certified Active Release Techniques (ART)®provider since 2005
  • ART Elite Provider Network (EPN) member since 2006
  • Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) certification (2018)
  • Functional Movement Systems (FMS) certification (2018)
  • Official treatment team member for Ironman Triathlons from 2004 to 2014
Keith’s years of experience as a Doctor of Chiropractic, as well as his early background in personal training, have shaped his ability to treat and diagnose an extensive range of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. This unique background also has inspired his personal credo: “Treat the cause, not the symptoms.” With his expert knowledge of exercise, movement and proper mechanics can naturally reduce symptoms, correct posture and improve overall function and performance, Dr. Donato brings a valuable combination of education and experience — as well as a commitment to compassionate patient care — to the Bio-Mechanics team. Utilizing his diagnostic and treatment skills, Keith is able to assess and formulate a highly customized approach to amateur and elite athletes’ training and treatment.
